YOMITAN SEVENS is pleased to announce that we will once again host our own event, the “International Women's Rugby Fellowship,” which first started in 2019.
The first Yomitan Sevens was held on February 24–25, 2018 in Yomitan Village, Okinawa. Teams and individual players joined us from Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Okinawa, the U.S. military community in Okinawa, and Kanagawa, enjoying rugby together as a partner event of OKINAWA SEVENS 2018.
Since 2019, Yomitan Sevens has been held as an independent international women’s rugby exchange event. Regardless of age, experience, or skill level, it has grown into a sevens festival where everyone can enjoy playing together.
Yomitan Sevens 2026 will be held on the dates shown below.
We warmly welcome women’s teams and individual players from around the world who love rugby to join us!

Yomitan Sevens 2023 will be held for two purposes among the rugby promotion and regional promotion. It requires to apply through the tour package staying within Yomitan Village.
